Ok guy’s, so since everyone keeps going on about 4k not really being a option for a add-on in Kodi I though I would do some ground work and see if there are actually any proper add-ons that are purely dedicated to 4k and today we are going to show you a add-on what we found.

Now we all know Kodi supports 4k but because of the bandwidth 4k requires it’s hard for any add-on to support this due to servers costs among other things, plus users would need to have a 4k enabled TV/Screen to get the full clarity and a good internet speed.

Unfortunately I don’t have a 4k TV yet so my screen will only upscale to 1080p, even so the picture from this add-on is crazy clear.

The 4k Media add-on hasn’t a massive collection of 4k this is due to what we mentioned before plus the availability of 4k is still pretty low. Anyway we are going to show you how to install this badboy on your device so you can enjoy and you’ll also notice this add-on supports 3D content!

STEP 1. Make sure you have the Pipccan repo installed, you can follow our guide here on how to install. Once ready select system.

 

STEP 2. Now select Add-ons.

 

STEP 3. Choose Get Add-ons.

 

STEP 4. Now choose My Kodi Repo (Pipccan).

 

STEP 5. Select Video Add-ons.

 

STEP 6. Choose 4k Media.

 

STEP 7. Hit Install.

 

STEP 8. Head over to your video add-on section where you can now start enjoying some 4k awesomeness.

  1. 4k videos appears blank, looks like you need to register to create an account in order to see it, you didnt mention that part on your tutorial.
