How To Wipe KODI, Remove A Build, Clear Settings with Fresh Start in XBMC/KODI

Fresh Start Kodi this is the easiest way to wipe, fix and return to default skin and settings on KODI / XBMC. Also, you can remove any Build before installing a new one. Indeed, this is the best way to clear and delete everything in KODI/XBMC before installing a Build.
This method works in any device: iOS, Android, Windows, OSX, Linux, etc.

Install instructions:

  1. Open Kodi
  2. Select SYSTEM (or SETTINGS this depends on the skin you are using)
  3. Select File Manager
  4. Select Add Source
  5. Select None
  6. Type the following EXACTLY http://fusion.tvaddons.co and select Done
  7. Highlight the box underneath Enter a name for this media Source, type fusion & select OK
  8. Go back to your Home Screen
  9. Select SYSTEM
  10. Select Add-Ons
  11. Select Install from zip file
  12. Select fusion
  13. Select begin here
  14. Select plugin.program.indigo-x.x.x.zip
  15. Wait for Add-on enabled notification
  16. Go back to Home Screen
  17. Select Addons
  18. Select Video Addons
  19. Select Indigo
  20. Select Factory Restore
  21. Follow the on screen instructions and this will help you with a fresh start on KodiHow To Wipe Kodi on Firestick.

    The below will totally restore Kodi on Firesticks  and also wipe Kodi on Fire TV devices. Once done you will have wiped Kodi device, this means you will need to reinstall any addons builds etc.

    How To Wipe Kodi On Firesticks

    1. Firstly you will need to close Kodi on your Firestick is you are currently using it, then  go to the home screen of you firestick or fire tv.
    2. Go to Settings tab near the bottom of your Fire TV screen, scroll down using remote.
    3. Select the Applications tab.
    4. Scroll down and Select Manage Applications.
    5. Scroll down and Select Kodi.
    6. Scroll down and Select Clear Data.
    7. You will now receive the following message on your screen “Delete app data?” option
    8. Select Clear data again.
    9. Use the remote scroll up button and then click the  “Launch Application” option
    10. This will confirm that Kodi has now been reset to the factory default settings.
    11. Now you can reinstall your favorite Kodi addons, skins, builds and more on your Firestick or Fire TV device.
