How To Install The ITV Player for Kodi

ITV player for Kodi allows users to watch live ITV channels and also on-demand. Our tutorial how to install ITV player below is easily explained for you.

The ITV player add-on has to be in my top 10 of Kodi add-ons as it’s a tool that encourages you even more to cut the cord, I’ve personally been using ITV player for kodi well over a year.

As mentioned you can see above you have the options of the live tv channels or the ITV Player which is on-demand.

Inside the ITV player, you will find all the tv shows they broadcast, these can be played back at your leisure, so if you have missed one of your favorite ITV shows, don’t panic, just hook into this add-on.

This is a geo-blocked plugin, meaning you will not be able to use it if you are outside the UK or don’t have a UK proxy. If you are interested in a VPN service to not only use add-ons like this but also to protect your privacy online then take a look at the bottom of this page for more details.

Don’t worry we can help with that so if you need a VPN or DNS to access this service please click HERE

  1. Been using ITV Player for ages and it suddenly doesn’t work. Instead of a list of what programmes are available on Player there is just a -. When I follow your instructions to install ITV player and open XunityTalk repository, again there is just a -, instead of a drop down menu with options. I have gone through the process of installing XunityTalk repository as I couldn’t find an update or uninstall option but nothing has changed.

Can you help me sort this out please? I did find through this site Soap Catchup but about 2 weeks ago that has stopped showing the most recent episodes of Coronation Street and Emmerdale. Have uninstalled and reinstalled it but still no recent episodes

  2. I can download ITV player through various methods but it won’t play. I am in Portugal but have unlocator DNS settings on my router. BBC, C5 etc all play fine. I’ve tried applying a VPN to my Android box but nothing changes.

  3. Hi,
I’m in Australia and have ITV player installed and working with a vpn. The problem is that it is so slow and painful to try and watch anything. Does anyone know a way to record the streaming so we can watch it later?
    Thanks in advance 🙂
